How gamification improves corporate training
Traditional corporate training faces a well-known problem: retention. According to multiple studies, most of a course's content is forgotten within the first few weeks without active reinforcement. Gamification tackles this problem at its root, turning the employee from a passive spectator into the protagonist of their own learning.
When compliance, product or procedural content is turned into an Escape Room or a ranked challenge, several things happen at once: attention increases, spaced repetition is introduced naturally (participants come back to try again), and a social conversation builds around the dynamic that reinforces what was learned.
In the projects we've built at Evenely, training teams that replaced a conventional e-learning module with a gamified dynamic have seen notable improvements in completion rates and in qualitative employee feedback. The key isn't adding gamification elements superficially (points for the sake of points), but designing the mechanics around the actual learning goal.
If you're considering making the switch, you can start with our subscription plan and a ready-made template, or ask us for a custom project if the content is complex and you need a specific storyboard.
